The next meeting of the Memphis Doll Club will be Saturday, June 6. Since the Raleigh Library is hosting a health fair that day, Paula Terhune has graciously invited us to meet at her house. Bring a doll related item that you have made or that someone else made for you. Please remember that dues of $40 are due this month. Please bring them to the meeting or mail them to Dee.

Dear Members
The next meeting of the Memphis Doll Club will be Saturday, April 4, at the Raleigh library, at 1:00.
Connie will bring a dessert, so members need to bring their lunch and drink. We will be voting on new officers if Mary and Susan no longer wish to serve. Possible officers are Heather Bowman for president, Dee for treasurer, Connie for vice president, and Kathy for sunshine. Cheryl And Karen will continue in their offices as secretary and historian respectively. Also be sure to bring your Show and Tell, perhaps what you purchased at the sale of Judy's dolls, or whatever you want to share.

The Memphis Doll Club will meet Saturday, January third at 1:00 at the Raleigh Library. Cheryl will do a program on troll dolls.

Memphis Doll Club

November Newsletter

The next meeting of the Memphis Doll Club will be Saturday, November 1, at the Raleigh Library. Mary Weatherwax will present a program on international dolls. Bring your international dolls to share at show and tell. Other dolls are welcome also. Cheryl will have some dolls that are needing new homes as their owners have downsized. They will be free for the taking. Everyone is asked to bring a sack lunch and a dessert will be provided by Donna Bryson.

At last month’s meeting Paula Terhune volunteered to have the Christmas party at her house December 6.

The club voted to send $400 from the treasury to the Memphis Oral School for the Deaf.

The following people were voted in as officers:

· Mary McElroy-Treasurer

· Cheryl Manard- Secretary

· Joyce Freeland- Sunshine

· Karen Pagington- Historian

Mary Weatherwax was voted in as a member.

Member concerns:

We are all saddened by the death of founding member Judy Featherston. She was upbeat and positive and a delight to be around. She will be greatly missed

Founding member Shirley Cunningham is being placed on hospice. I know she will be in all of our prayers.

Candace Buyer is still having balance problems. She also needs our prayers.
