It means caring about what we do. Following through on our commitments. Taking the time to do thoughtful work. And treating the people around us with the respect and consideration they deserve.

At the Women's Advisory Board of Memphis, we believe excellence is about purpose, not perfection. It's about encouraging one another to grow, do our best, and make a meaningful difference.

Here's your Wednesday reminder: Your best doesn't have to be perfect to make a difference. It simply needs to reflect your care, your values, and your commitment.

MEET THE WOMEN OF WAB | HEATHER DONAHO
Every organization has a beginning and behind WAB is a woman who had a vision for creating something different for women.

Meet Heather Donaho, Founder & CEO of the Women’s Advisory Board. Heather brings more than 20 years of C-suite leadership experience, but what stands out just as much is her passion for helping women grow, lead, connect, and create greater influence.

Her vision for WAB is about more than networking. It's about creating a place where women can:
- CONNECT with women who understand
- COLLABORATE and learn from one another
- LEAD with greater confidence and influence
- GROW personally and professionally

And perhaps most importantly, it's about creating a place where women can BE REAL.

It's a place where you can say, “Here's what I'm struggling with,” or “Here's where I want to go,” and know there are women around the table who will listen, encourage, challenge, and walk alongside you. That's the culture we're building.

This week marked our first monthly meeting of the year, and let me tell you — the energy was unmatched. We celebrated big plans, tackled real problem-solving in teams, and set our standards high (like we always do).

These women? Powerful. Purpose-driven. Excellence is the baseline.
