In 1918, West Tennessee A & M became a coeducational workforce development institution, located in the South Memphis neighborhood of Memphis, Tennessee. Today, we continue the spirit of innovation and inquiry and curiosity and forward-thinking. We teach how technology integrates people, process, data and devices to solve modern business problems. The idea that young men and women don’t want to work is simply untrue. I will NEVER stop creating opportunities for the disenfranchised and underserved—never! This generation deserves access to the opportunities and exposure we didn’t have.

Western Tennessee A&M started in my grandfather’s backyard, founded on the belief that education transforms lives. To those in their 40s, 50s, and 60s who refuse to embrace the careers of the future—shame on you! A paycheck isn’t the end goal. You can’t fake true commitment.
