Many caregivers are uncertain about what back to school will look like for their kids this year. We are grateful to ruggabercreatives.com/ for their Virtual Learning Co-Op Concept Overview-- giving some options for what virtual learning could look like.

The resource is available for free at their website on the 'Downlaods' page- Check it out! A combined 40+ years in the nonprofit, arts, and education industries have provided Brian and Amy Ruggaber with a broad combination of skills.  Ruggaber Creatives consults on programming and production management and design, as well as technical writing for grants and communications.  Amy is a...

Hello Community, Friends, and Family,

This summer has been a long and heartbreaking one, with endless examples of ongoing state violence against Black communities. It has also been a powerful site of resistance, led by groups like Black Lives Matter.

To this end, Regeneración Childcare NYC, Philly Childcare Collective, Bay Area Childcare Collective, Chicago Childcare Collective (ChiChiCo) and many others in the Intergalactic Conspiracy of Childcare Collectives have collaborated on a list of helpful resources, tools, articles, and workshops for talking to kids about police brutality and anti-Black racism:

Talking to Kids about Police Brutality and Racism: Resources for Parents, Caregivers, Teachers, and Community

Our vision for this document is that it be a living, breathing, shared document. What does this mean?

1. SHARE THIS!: This document is only as helpful and useful as it is shared in our communities. Facebook it, email it, tweet it, talk about it!

2. ADD YOUR RESOURCES!: With the understanding that these conversations and actions look very different for different families, we have sorted the document into a few categories. Please add your resources to the section(s) they correspond to, or add a new category if needed. Because other shared google doc resources have been infiltrated by white supremacist links 😞 and to keep the document organized, we will be keeping this one in 'suggestion mode,' meaning the moderators will approve additions and changes as they come.

3. CONTACT US: Do you have any suggestions, questions, or comments? Please email us at [email protected].

Thank you in advance for your collective wisdom and experience!

In solidarity and struggle,
Regeneracion Childcare Collective
