Did you know that August is International Immunization month? And did you know that the first laboratory vaccine was developed by Louis Pasteur in 1879 although the first suspected vaccine was used as early as 1000 CE (Common Era) or AD. Thanks to immunizations with various vaccines, society has eradicated the deadly disease smallpox according to the World Health Organization and has nearly stopped the circulation of polio among others. Of course our most recent immunization vaccine to become available is for the 2019 novel coronavirus-19 otherwise known as COVID-19. Research for this latest vaccine began in January of 2020 after the emergence of the worldwide pandemic that continues to spread globally. As of July 25th 2021, there has been a total of 1,060,225,200 fully vaccinated individuals across the globe for COVID-19, which is only 14% of the population! It is a known fact that people with underlying health conditions are more susceptible to dying from the virus than otherwise healthy individuals and that is why we at I and I Support Group are encouraging our followers to please do your due diligence and get vaccinated and urge your loved ones to do the same.

By raising awareness of men's health issues, we can significantly increase the life expectancy for our dads, brothers, spouses, etc. When we help the men in our lives make healthy lifestyle choices, have regular annual visits to the doctor, getting educated on heart disease or diabetes, we can help our loved one live longer.

Many studies have shown that polluted city environments can expose citizens to increased Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) risks. The pollution may come from factories, but quite often it is caused by the fumes of all those car exhausts. Furthermore, people of lower socio-economic status are more likely to develop this disease than others because their lack of means forces them to live in inner-city areas where they are closer to the primary sources of pollution. Many of these sufferers cannot afford the medications needed to prevent dangerous episodes or flare ups of their condition. I and I Support Group is here to help.
