You do not have to reach the point of exhaustion before you're allowed to rest.

You don't have to finish every chore, answer every message, handle every problem, or make everybody else happy first.

Rest is not a reward for being productive. It's part of taking care of yourself.

Single moms deserve room to be people, too—not just the person everybody depends on.

Somewhere along the way, society started treating a single mom being capable of managing her choices like it means she doesn't need help.

She can manage the bills, manage kids' schedules, manage her career, make decisions, and keep the household running. That doesn't mean she should have to do all of it without support.

Being independent and being supported are not opposites.

At IAMSK, we believe single motherhood shouldn't mean isolated motherhood. We need people who show up, communities that care, and spaces where moms can exhale without having to explain why they're tired.

Tag a mom who deserves to be reminded that she doesn't have to carry everything alone. Tell her what she needs to hear. 💜
