Two young women. Two new apprentices. Two futures being built with purpose, discipline, and courage.

Today we’re proud to celebrate Makyla and Sanaa as the newest officially registered apprentices through the Tennessee Department of Labor & Workforce Development and The Sow Project.

This is bigger than a kitchen. Bigger than a classroom. This is what happens when opportunity meets hard work, mentorship, and belief.

At The Sow Project, we believe talent exists everywhere — access does not. Our mission is to remove barriers, create pathways to employment, and walk beside students through one of the most important transitions of their lives.

Makyla and Sanaa are already proving what’s possible. We couldn’t be more proud of them. The future is bright, and they’re earning every inch of it.

Congratulations ladies. Keep going. Memphis is watching. ❤️
