The Alpha Eta Zeta – DOVE Foundation, Inc., is the outreach arm of Alpha Eta Zeta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.; created in 2008, to enhance the general welfare and improve the quality of life of underserved populations in the community. The establishment of the Alpha Eta Zeta-DOVE Foundation, Inc. further strengthens our commitment to serve Memphis and the surrounding area. It provides
the needed vehicle to partner with corporations for a greater impact to improve the community. The foundation is a not-for-profit 501(c)3 organization that is a wholly separate and distinct organization from Alpha Eta Zeta Chapter. Our purpose is to enhance the consciousness and actions of the community by:
- Advancing educational achievement and promoting educational opportunities by providing scholarships and other educational support to high school seniors and other groups that are economically disadvantaged.
- Conducting educational seminars, community-based workshops and disseminating of health information aimed at encouraging youth, women, men, and senior citizens to excel.
- Sponsoring and supporting programs designed to promote self-improvement, self-reliance, leadership development, personal responsibility, and economic awareness.
- Maintaining a community outreach support facility for expectant mothers.
