Today marks the 25's anniversary for the Christian Off-Road Association. A quarter of a century ago, Jason, Eddie and I kicked off our first official meeting. Putting into motion ideas God had put on our hearts over the previous year.
What began as ideas written on a napkin over breakfast, turned into multiple chapters of a not -for-profit organization, who's members have experienced baptism, births, deaths and marriages. We've had victories and failures, just as most Godly organizations run by people will experience. At our core, we've always focused on Christian Unity, making safe places for our families to build memories, and to have a positive impact on the community around us. Many thanks to the dedicated servants who worked tirelessly over the years to keep the dream of CORA alive and well, organizing events, keeping meetings going and embracing the community that CORA has become.
Today we continue to serve our community of 4x4 enthusiasts, whether it's trail running, overlanding or rock crawling. Sometimes not even an off road event, but rather just helping out at a local Rigs and Coffee event, fund raiser or parade.. Every member is an answer to a prayer that started more than 25 years ago and continues on.
Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing.
1 Thes 5:11
A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.
