Get ready to Finish Liza's Run on September 4, 2026. Runners will start at the intersection of Central and Belvedere, run to Zach Curlin, and then turn around to Finish Liza's Run in her honor.

Be sure to plan ahead! Several roads will be closed or have limited access along the race route along both sides of Central as runners make their way through the area. From 3:00am to 7:30 am, there may be impacts on local travel.

The Central Gardens Association is delighted to present our milestone 50th Anniversary
Home & Garden Tour, celebrating five decades of opening the doors to some of the south's most remarkable historic homes. This year's tour features eight estate-sized residences, many rarely open to the public, along the beautiful streets of Belvedere, Central, and Harbert in the heart of historic Central Gardens. As you explore the homes, we hope you enjoy the architecture, craftsmanship, and stories that have shaped generations of Memphis life, along with live music, food trucks, and the festive atmosphere at our Hospitality Center.

We are also honored to include two treasured Midtown landmarks as part of this special anniversary tour: Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception and Grace-St. Luke's Episcopal Church. Thank you for joining us for this golden anniversary celebration and for supporting the preservation and spirit of Central Gardens.

🚐 Need a ride between home tour stops? Hop on!

While the tour is designed to be easily walkable, and we have wonderful tree-lined sidewalks for you, we will also have a free, air-conditioned shuttle running a constant route with stops conveniently located along the route, as well as some friendly staffers on golf carts! Shuttle stops will be marked on the handout you get at check in. Let us show you real southern hospitality on Sunday, September 13 at our 50th Annual Central Gardens Home & Garden Tour!

⭐️50th Home Tour sneak peek of the week!

Clanlo Hall is one of the finest surviving 19th-century houses in Memphis. Among other notable features, it has a four-cornered portico with slender proportions and flattened acanthus leaves on its Corinthian columns. These are two details that recur frequently in Memphis plantation houses. What other details can you spot? Join us and find out!
