We Are Fundraising to Save Our Youth!

It’s here— , a global day of giving! UCAN of Memphis is dedicated to empowering low-income students ages 12-19 by fostering positive self-respect and providing tools for success through group mentoring across the Mid-South.

How We’re Making a Difference:
• Teen Talk Sessions: In partnership with Communities in Schools, we’ve hosted sessions with community leaders, educating youth on essential topics like birth control, college readiness, entrepreneurship, bullying awareness, and leadership skills.
• Blazers and Pearls Initiative: With support from the Dress for Success, we’ve provided over blazers and pearl necklaces to students helping them dress for success during job interviews and other professional opportunities.

Your generous support this Giving Tuesday will ensure that UCAN of Memphis can continue offering life-changing mentoring programs, bullying prevention workshops, and job readiness training for youth across the Mid-South.

Thank you Memphis Grizzlies Grizz Community and for granting our mentee and mentor the opportunity to attend the Deck the Diamonds at Autozone Park featuring 200 incredible light displays, a fireworks show, holiday entertainment, food and drink, and more. We even got the chance to see love in the air with a beautiful proposal!
