As a new school year begins and a new sports season gets underway, remember that the little things matter. Every early morning, every practice, every lesson, every act of kindness, and every challenge is planting seeds for the future.

Galatians 6:9 reminds us not to grow weary in doing what is right, even when the results aren’t immediate. Keep showing up. Keep working hard. Keep encouraging others. Keep your faith strong.

Whether you’re a student, teacher, coach, athlete, parent, or supporter, may this season be one of growth, perseverance, and purpose. Trust that the seeds you plant today will produce a harvest in God’s perfect timing.

Forgiveness doesn’t excuse the hurt, and it doesn’t erase what happened. It frees your heart from the weight of bitterness and makes room for God’s peace to heal what pain tried to break.

Today, choose grace over resentment, peace over anger, and faith over offense. Sometimes the greatest act of wisdom is letting go and trusting God with what you cannot change.

Have a blessed Wisdom Wednesday. May your heart be light, your spirit be at peace, and your life reflect the forgiveness you’ve received through Christ. 🙏🤍

Some days you’ll feel strong. Other days you’ll feel tired, discouraged, or ready to quit. Remember that your strength doesn’t have to come from yourself—it comes from the Lord.

As a team, let’s encourage one another, stay committed, and keep our eyes on the purpose God has placed before us. Every practice, every game, and every challenge is preparing us for something greater.

Through South Side Wildcats and our partnership with CodeCrew, our student-athletes are gaining access to STEM education, mentorship, leadership development, and opportunities many never imagined possible.

For some of our students, this is their first exposure to coding, technology, and career pathways beyond sports.

🚨 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT – WILDCAT ROAR FEST CANCELED 🚨

Southside Wildcats, Grind City Tigers, and Whitehaven Vikings families,

Due to the forecasted inclement weather and out of an abundance of caution for the safety of our athletes, families, coaches, vendors, and guests, we have made the difficult decision to cancel the Wildcat Roar Fest scheduled for June 13, 2026.

The safety of everyone involved is our top priority, and we believe this is the best decision considering the weather conditions.

We want to thank everyone who planned to attend, support, volunteer, and participate in this event. Your continued support means everything to our organizations and youth athletes.

Please stay safe, stay weather aware, and continue to support our young athletes. We look forward to seeing everyone at future events and throughout the upcoming season.
