Pursuit of Happiness mission serve girls with programs and enrichment that prepares them for life after high school, foster care, and juvenile incarceration through counseling, mentoring, and life skills training. The purpose of this organization is to provide at risk youth with proper resources and planning to promote their overall success.

POH is on the road again!

Get ready for an inspiring day of learning, leadership, and empowerment!

Date: Saturday

Departure Location: Walmart – Austin Peay Highway, Memphis, TN

Departure Time: 6:00 AM sharp
Please arrive by 5:45 AM for check-in. The bus will depart promptly at 6:00 AM.

Meals Provided:

* Breakfast
* Lunch

Please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes, and bring:

* A reusable water bottle
* A light jacket (if needed)
* Your positive attitude and willingness to learn!

We are excited to experience the Joy & Justice Tour together as we continue empowering young women through education, leadership, and civic engagement.

🌸 Happy International Women’s Day! 🌸

Today we celebrate the strength, resilience, leadership, and brilliance of women and girls everywhere.

At Pursuit of Happiness Memphis, we are especially grateful for partners who believe in investing in the future of young women. We extend a heartfelt thank you to the YWCA Memphis and the Women’s Foundation for a Greater Memphis for awarding POH Memphis a generous $5,000 grant!

Because of this support, our girls were able to explore educational and cultural opportunities beyond Memphis, including traveling to Atlanta to attend the Black Girls Dream Conference. Experiences like these allow our students to see themselves as scholars, leaders, innovators, and change-makers.

On International Women’s Day, we celebrate not only the achievements of women today but the limitless potential of the young women we are nurturing for tomorrow.
