“Growing up I’ve always been this naturally reserved, shy, introverted kind of person to afraid to speak my mind or just be myself. From the moment I walked into the Kappa Delta room I knew I could be myself, say whatever I wanted, and knew I was being seen and heard. The high energy and genuineness was everything to me. The biggest thing for me was to feel comfortable and that I wasn’t being judged, and with Kappa Delta there was no doubt in my mind that it wasn’t the home for me! To this day Kappa Delta Zeta Omega pushes me to go after what I want, supports me in anything in life, and encourages me to always be myself. They made me feel like my voice mattered and I can do great things with it, even when I was quiet, and that sense of sincerity of building real connections and uplifting everyone is what drew me to wanting to be apart of their sisterhood.

“Another huge part that drew me to Kappa Delta was the philanthropies— Cuts for confidence, Prevent Child Abuse America, and Girl Scouts of America. When I was younger I was a Girl Scout for around 6 years and I learned so many great and valuable things while being one. So, to see that Kappa Delta work hands on with them doing tons of fun and amazing things that align with my same values that I have was amazing! I knew in that moment I could give back to them the same way the Girl Scouts poured into me.”
