We share that it is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that share the passing of our dear, Jack Cress, owner of Mountain View Wrecker Service. He was one of the founding members of the TTTA.

Jack was a cornerstone of the TTTA. For 22 years, his unwavering dedication, kindness, and vision shaped our community and touched the lives of everyone he met. Jack’s legacy will forever be a part of who we are and what we do.

Our deepest condolences and thoughts go out to the Cress Family and loved ones during this difficult time. We share in your grief and send you our love, strength, and prayers.

The last conversation Jack and I had was at the 2025 Wall of the Fallen; he talked about how many names were on the wall and how one was one too many. That is why we must keep advocating for towing operators. My hope from this tragedy is that we can keep honoring his legacy by continuing to work together to fight for the rights of towing and recovery operators in the state of TN.

Rest in peace, Jack. You will be deeply missed and we will drag the chains from here.

Kyle Rasberry, TTTA President

Fellow TTTA Members and Affiliates,

I am honored to be running for Vice President of the Tennessee Tow Truck Association, and I am asking for your vote.

I have been in the towing business since 2011 as the owner of Young’s Towing, with hands-on experience in light-duty, medium-duty, and heavy-duty towing and recovery.

I understand the challenges we face as towing professionals and business owners, and I believe our industry is stronger when we work together, communicate with one another, and have a strong voice representing Tennessee’s towing industry.

If elected, I will work to:

Support towing companies of all sizes
Promote professionalism and safety
Improve communication and unity among our members
Strengthen relationships with government and law enforcement
Support the continued growth and future of Tennessee’s towing industry

VOTING IS OPEN SEPTEMBER 17–23

Voting will be conducted through ElectionBuddy.

Please check your email for your invitation from the TTTA Election Committee. The email will be titled “TTTA Executive Board Election 2026.”

Please take a moment to cast your vote.

I would be honored to earn your support and have the opportunity to serve the members of the TTTA.

Thank you,

Jay Young
Owner, Young’s Towing
