Boys & Girls Club of Greater Memphis Garden to Groceries Trainees at the Boys & Girls Club Technical Training Center are getting ready for the workforce!

The Greater Memphis Area Boys & Girls Club Technical Training Center is the one and only location in the country that provides job training and workforce development for students ages 16-21. Hard skills that are offered include: Culinary Arts, Logistics, Automotive, and S.T.E.M. Soft skills training is also offered to every student at the Technical Training Center, such as customer service trainin

g, effective communication, time management, money management, resumé writing, cover letter writing, interviewing skills, professional dress & hygiene, computer skills, punctuality, and more.

Get ready for Jeghetto's Puppet Invasion coming on March 18. There will be a puppet parade on Beale Street at 11 AM with the Lucky 7 Brass Band. Jeghetto will perform puppet shows at Fourth Bluff Park at 1 PM and 3 PM.

There is also a puppet workshop the week of March 13-17. Go to memphislibrary.org for more information about registration.
