Sometimes the greatest need isn't medicine. It's to be seen. ❤️

Mission Report:

"When 85 year old Dominga came to our clinic in Guatemala, she didn't just need care for her aching body. She needed hope. She shared how she faithfully cares for her 98 year old husband, hiking the mountains each day to love and serve him just as he once cared for her.

When she asked if we could help him, we didn't stop at the clinic. We hiked to their home, bringing medicine, prayer, encouragement, and the hope of the Gospel.

Over five days, our teams served more than 350 patients across three remote villages through medical, dental, vision, children's ministry, clean water, and countless opportunities to share Christ. Every patient was prayed with because we know that while medicine can heal the body, only Jesus can heal the soul."

May we continue to answer the call to serve wherever God leads. ✝️🌎

Earlier this summer, we had a surprise stop in!

Former Crosslink director Linda Cook was passing through Memphis and surprised us with a visit. Linda was part of the original group that started Crosslink nearly 30 years ago in a Sunday school class at their church in Virginia. She later served as director and played an incredible role in helping grow this ministry into what it is today.

What a gift it is, 30 years later, to continue the work that Linda and so many others faithfully began. We never want to take for granted the foundation that was laid by people like Linda Cook, Jan Jones Flowers, Jan and David C. Lewis, and so many others we could never begin to name. They prayed, served, gave, sacrificed, and trusted God to use Crosslink to reach people around the world.

Today, we have the privilege of building on that foundation and continuing the mission of equipping medical mission teams to bring hope, healing, and the love of Jesus to people around the world.

We are incredibly grateful for those who came before us, excited about what God is doing today, and expectant for what He still has ahead!

And Linda, you are welcome to surprise us anytime! ❤️

A beautiful Scripture for the beginning of August.

As routines start again and school will be back in session. May we remember that the sacrifice of Christ has healed us. Our eternal sin problem has been dealt with once and for all by the grace and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. May this be the message we proclaim as we jump into whatever mission field God has allowed us to be in.

This update from our ministry partners that serve in Kenya is a powerful testimony of hope. Through home based care, lives are being restored, the Gospel is being shared, and patients who were once left to die are finding healing and new life in Christ.

One woman living alone in the Homa Bay slums had lost all desire to eat due to severe illness and malnutrition. The multivitamins she received that Crosslink Memphis was able to provide helped restore her appetite and gave her strength to begin recovering.

Since this ministry began, 96% of surveyed patients have survived and rebuilt their lives, and hundreds have come to know Christ.

Thank you to everyone who gives, prays, and supports Crosslink Memphis. Your generosity is bringing hope, healing, and the love of Jesus to those who need it most. 🙏🌍❤️
