Earlier this summer, we had a surprise stop in!

Former Crosslink director Linda Cook was passing through Memphis and surprised us with a visit. Linda was part of the original group that started Crosslink nearly 30 years ago in a Sunday school class at their church in Virginia. She later served as director and played an incredible role in helping grow this ministry into what it is today.

What a gift it is, 30 years later, to continue the work that Linda and so many others faithfully began. We never want to take for granted the foundation that was laid by people like Linda Cook, Jan Jones Flowers, Jan and David C. Lewis, and so many others we could never begin to name. They prayed, served, gave, sacrificed, and trusted God to use Crosslink to reach people around the world.

Today, we have the privilege of building on that foundation and continuing the mission of equipping medical mission teams to bring hope, healing, and the love of Jesus to people around the world.

We are incredibly grateful for those who came before us, excited about what God is doing today, and expectant for what He still has ahead!

And Linda, you are welcome to surprise us anytime! ❤️

We can't wait to spend the day together enjoying great golf, and friendly competition, all while supporting local and global medical missions. Every swing helps share the love of Christ and make the Gospel known around the world. 🌍

A beautiful Scripture for the beginning of August.

As routines start again and school will be back in session. May we remember that the sacrifice of Christ has healed us. Our eternal sin problem has been dealt with once and for all by the grace and sacrifice of our Lord Jesus Christ. May this be the message we proclaim as we jump into whatever mission field God has allowed us to be in.

This update from our ministry partners that serve in Kenya is a powerful testimony of hope. Through home based care, lives are being restored, the Gospel is being shared, and patients who were once left to die are finding healing and new life in Christ.

One woman living alone in the Homa Bay slums had lost all desire to eat due to severe illness and malnutrition. The multivitamins she received that Crosslink Memphis was able to provide helped restore her appetite and gave her strength to begin recovering.

Since this ministry began, 96% of surveyed patients have survived and rebuilt their lives, and hundreds have come to know Christ.

Thank you to everyone who gives, prays, and supports Crosslink Memphis. Your generosity is bringing hope, healing, and the love of Jesus to those who need it most. 🙏🌍❤️

We just had a team return from Brazil in the last couple weeks.🌏

Let's pray for the people they encountered that as they heard the Gospel it would take root in their hearts and lives. Pray that God would raise up more workers for the harvest is plentiful. Pray for lasting discipleship relationships that would be passed on generation to generation. 🌏🗺🇧🇷

One of our team members recently returned from Guatemala after serving alongside medical students from Memphis in community clinics throughout the region.

It was an incredible week watching these students grow not only in confidence as future healthcare providers, but also in their faith as they served others in the name of Christ.

The trip was filled with moments of joy, from connecting with families and playing with children, to seeing patients receive care they might not otherwise have access to. At the same time, we witnessed the difficult realities many people face, including hunger, depression, and serious illness.

We are grateful for the opportunity to equip and encourage the next generation of medical missionaries while sharing both compassionate healthcare and the hope of the Gospel.
