🎉 NAWIC Memphis Chapter #13’s 2nd Annual Awards & Installation Gala Was a HUGE Success! 🎉
What an incredible evening celebrating leadership, accomplishments, and the amazing women who make NAWIC Memphis so special! We officially installed our new board, recognized outstanding members, and celebrated just how far our chapter has come. ❤️
We were honored to welcome some very special guests who joined us to celebrate this milestone:
✨ Adriana Perez – Southeast Director and West Palm Beach Chapter Member
✨ Stephanie Rodriguez – Tradeswomen Committee Chair, Site Sister Kit (SSK) Guru, and Miami NAWIC President
✨ Andrea Nicholson – Past Director and Nashville Chapter Member
✨ Venus Chaney – CEO of the Girl Scouts Heart of the South Region
A special thank you to Stephanie Rodriguez for leading us in the Pledge of Allegiance and helping us kick off the evening in a meaningful way. We also want to recognize Tammie Ross for her inspirational speech and for sharing a message that reminded us of the power of women supporting, encouraging, and lifting one another up. ❤️
As outgoing President, Catherine Figueras White reflected on the past two years and her theme, “Dare to Be Different.” She challenged our chapter to step up, stand out, show up, and make a difference—and that is exactly what we did!
🚀 We grew from 40 members to 127 members!
🏆 We earned recognition and awards on both the regional and national stages.
💪 We brought NAWIC to Memphis with a storm, building partnerships, creating opportunities, and making our presence known throughout the community!
With Andrea Nicholson leading the installation of our new board and recognizing our outgoing board members, we filled the room with supporters, leaders, and friends who came together to celebrate the past, present, and future of NAWIC Memphis.
🏆 Congratulations to our 2026 Award Recipients!

One of the evening’s most touching surprises was when Stephanie Rodriguez presented Catherine White with a special award recognizing her as a Site Sister Kit Champion! 🩷 This recognition highlights the importance of supporting initiatives that provide women with essential personal-care and hygiene supplies in the construction workplace.
A heartfelt thank you to Heather Wolf and the entire WMS Team for their continued partnership and support of the Site Sister Kit initiative. Your generosity and commitment help make a meaningful difference for women in our industry. We are grateful to have you standing alongside us!
Our new President, Shelby Rayman, officially closed the business portion of the installation by tapping the gavel, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for our organization!
Then it was time to celebrate! 🥳 We enjoyed networking, dancing, and partying with everyone in attendance before wrapping up the evening with an exciting raffle featuring items donated by our incredibly generous sponsors. 🎶
A HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who attended, our generous sponsors, Coletta’s, our DJ, and Old Dominick Distillery for helping make this night unforgettable!
📸 Want to relive the memories? Photos from the gala are posted on our website for everyone to view and download!
To our outgoing board, incoming board, members, sponsors, and supporters—thank you for being part of this incredible journey. The past two years have been an amazing ride, and we cannot wait to see what the future holds for NAWIC Memphis!
Here’s to another successful year of building connections, empowering women, supporting tradeswomen, and daring to be different! 🩷🔨
