Puppy Up Foundation

Puppy Up Foundation This innovative research approach helps broaden our understanding of cancer, benefiting both people and their loyal canine companions.

The Puppy Up Foundation (formerly 2 Million Dogs) is America's first and only foundation dedicated to comparative oncology research to end cancer in pets and people. The Puppy Up Foundation is dedicated to supporting grants for comparative oncology research (which explores the shared aspects of cancer in both humans and dogs) education and awareness. Just like humans, dogs are naturally susceptibl

e to cancer, making this research crucial for advancements in treatment and prevention for both species. Through a series of Walks held nationwide, Puppy Up raises awareness and funds to support ongoing research and education in comparative oncology. These events bring together two-legged and four-legged friends in the fight for a cure. The funds raised by the Puppy Up Foundation help support critical research grants, while also raising awareness about cancer prevention, causes, and treatments for both humans and dogs. Your involvement is essential to the success of this event—and to the continued progress in our mission to find a cure. To learn more, visit www.puppyup.org.

July Pup of the Month

Bean Sanders

“Mom fell in love with my smile.”
Hi, my name is Bean! I do not have cancer, but my Momma’s beloved Dobby did. Thank you
very much for supporting me, in memory of Dobby.
My mom adopted me from MAS (Memphis Animal Services). A very nice lady found me walking
across a field by American Way. I was very skinny and had a broken harness that was held
together with duct tape. I have an underbite and pigeon chest. Mom fell in love with my smile.
Now, I get to sleep in a big bed, have a great breakfast and dinner, ‘gater’ snacks and carrots,
and I get to go on great camping and hiking adventures.

June Pup of the Month Shiloh

"Shiloh is a gentle Golden Retriever with a heart as big as his smile. His calm presence and loving nature make him a natural therapy dog, bringing joy and comfort to everyone he meets. Whether visiting hospitals, schools, or simply greeting neighbors on his daily walks, Shiloh has a way of brightening people’s spirits.

He is more than just a beautiful dog—he is a source of kindness, healing, and unconditional love. Shiloh reminds us every day of the simple but powerful gift of companionship."

Be the bridge that keeps our mission moving.

Like so many of us, PuppyUp is navigating a changing world where the costs of doing business—from venue rentals to shipping—continue to climb. But while costs are rising, our commitment to ending canine cancer hasn’t wavered.

Our PuppyUp Walks are the heartbeat of this community, but the logistical hurdles of hosting them have grown. We refuse to let these rising expenses slow down our progress in Early Detection education and life-saving research.

This is where you come in.

We are looking for partners to help us close the gap. A gift of just $25 today ensures that our research stays on track and our educational programs reach the pet parents who need them most.

Donate $25 today to help bridge the gap.
