Our PuppyUp Walks are the heartbeat of this community, but the logistical hurdles of hosting them have grown. We refuse to let these rising expenses slow down our progress in Early Detection education and life-saving research.

🎆🐾 Fireworks & Fur Babies: Keep Your Pets Safe! 🐾🎆

Be prepared!

While fireworks can be fun for us, they’re often frightening and stressful for our pets. As celebrations get loud, here are a few tips to help your furry friends stay safe and calm:

🔒 Keep them secure – Make sure your pets are indoors and in a safe, escape-proof room. Scared pets may try to run!

💡 Create a comfort zone – Use a cozy crate, calming music, or a favorite blanket or toy to ease anxiety.

🎧 Drown out the noise – White noise machines, fans, or soft music can help mask loud booms.

🆔 Check their tags & microchips – In case they do get out, proper ID helps bring them home faster.

🚫 Skip the party treats – Human food and alcohol can be harmful. Keep them out of reach.

🐶 Talk to your vet – If your pet has severe anxiety, ask your vet about safe calming options or medications.
