Grateful for an inspiring afternoon!

A heartfelt thank you to all the local pastors and faith leaders who joined us for our Faith Leaders for Community Flourishing lunch in Raleigh on Monday. The energy and commitment in the room were unmatched.

Special thanks to Commissioner Charlie Caswell for a powerful, timely message, reminding us all of the vital need for faith leaders to stay vocal, visible, and valuable as we build collective impact, hope, and human flourishing across our communities.

We’re also deeply grateful to partners like The Excel Center and World Relief for joining us and providing essential resources to support this ongoing work. Together, we are stronger!

We are excited to introduce George Gaston, Agape’s new Director of Education Programs!

George brings more than 10 years of experience in education and school leadership, with a background in school culture, restorative practices, family engagement, special education, and creating supportive environments where students can thrive.

As Director of Education Programs, George will provide leadership across Agape’s Birth–Grade 12 education continuum, including Thrive by Five, STARS, and our Community Schools work. He will partner with our education team, school leaders, and community partners to strengthen programming and help ensure students and families have the support and resources they need to flourish.

George holds graduate degrees in public administration and education and is currently pursuing his Doctor of Education in Leadership at Trevecca Nazarene University.

We look forward to the experience, leadership, and heart George brings to this work and all that is ahead.

A new partnership. A stronger Fairley community.

Fairley High School , Memphis-Shelby County Schools - MSCS and Agape Child & Family Services are coming together to launch a new Community School model focused on helping students and families thrive.

Join us as we celebrate this new partnership with a ribbon cutting at Fairley High School!

Together, we’re opening more doors to resources, relationships and opportunities for Fairley students, families and the Whitehaven community.

The Human Flourishing Alliance continues to grow, with 52 organizations now working together toward a shared goal of helping individuals, families and communities flourish.

Together, these organizations are building a more connected network of support for individuals and families across our communities. The Human Flourishing Initiative connects organizations and resources so they can work as a coordinated team.

Agape is honored to serve as the backbone organization for the Shelby County pilot, helping foster collaboration across this growing network of partners.
