Stage & Sketch returns this October with an evening of theatrical figure drawing at the Dixon. Inspired by performance, costume, and movement, this creative session invites artists to explore expressive poses and imaginative character work in a relaxed studio setting.

Bring your own materials and enjoy a cozy fall evening making art with fellow creatives.

Thanks to this year’s Curator’s Circle, the Dixon has acquired "Banks of the Seine, Sunset Effect" by Gustave Caillebotte, joining a select number of American museums with works by the artist.

This atmospheric river landscape captures the Seine at day’s end, with fluid brushstrokes and subtle reflections that showcase Caillebotte’s masterful treatment of light.

Visit the Dixon’s exhibition celebrating 50 years of collecting and stop by the Willmont Gallery to see works added to the collection by the Curator’s Circle over the past decade. We’re grateful to this dedicated group of supporters for helping grow the Dixon’s collection for generations to come!

This October, Dixon Gallery and Gardens presents “Mallory/Wurtzburger: 80 Exhibitions, 18 Years,” celebrating the artists who have exhibited at the Dixon in the Mallory and Wurtzburger Galleries over the past 18 years.

Featuring work by 60 local and regional contemporary artists the exhibition is on view Oct. 4 through Jan. 3, 2027, and marks the final exhibition of the Dixon’s 50th anniversary year.
