Made in Dixon | Hecho en Dixon brings together works created by program participants of all ages and backgrounds, offering a glimpse into the many ways people connect, learn, and create at the Dixon.

This exhibition is dedicated to Linley Schmidt, a wonderful colleague, a true friend, and someone who connected so many people to the Dixon.

Celebrate Hugo Dixon’s birthday with a special tour led by Linda W. and S. Herbert Rhea Director Kevin Sharp, featuring works from the Dixon’s original bequest. This collection helped lay the foundation for the museum we know today.

Explore works by Mary Cassatt, Marc Chagall, Camille Corot, Henri Fantin-Latour, Paul Gauguin, Paul Guigou, Albert Marquet, and Henri Matisse, and discover the stories behind some of the Dixon’s earliest treasures.

Join us on September 11 as we celebrate the Dixon's 50th anniversary at our annual cocktail festival! This year, inspired by the vibrant spirit of the 1970s. Retro attire encouraged.

"Café Society: Art and Sociability in Paris, 1855–1914" explores the spaces where people gathered, exchanged ideas, and found inspiration in the rhythms of everyday life.

Third Thursday at the Dixon means extra time to wander the galleries, explore the gardens, and enjoy the museum after hours. Stay awhile, and experience the Dixon in a more relaxed evening setting.

The gardens at golden hour are worth the visit alone.
