Only a couple of days left to purchase tickets for the 40th Women of Achievement Awards Ceremony ☀️✨

This year’s ceremony is bringing a beautiful wave of energy that feels so needed, and we’re looking forward to such a meaningful gathering together.

It’s Women’s History Month.
It’s the 40th anniversary of Women of Achievement.
And we’ll be honoring six history-making women right here in Memphis.

Despite the countless ways women have shaped our world, their stories are still too often missing - according to the National Women’s History Museum, only about 11% of historical figures taught in U.S. schools are women. For 40 years, Women of Achievement has been working to change that, right here in our community.

And Sunday truly has all the makings of a perfect Memphis day - sunny, warm, and in Midtown 💛 Come celebrate with us, then linger a little. Grab dinner or drinks nearby and make an afternoon of it with your people.

✨ Refreshments & book signing: 3:00 PM
🏆 Awards ceremony: 4:30 PM
📍 Playhouse on the Square
🎟 Tickets available via link in bio or on Eventbrite

We’d love to see you there 🤍

It’s Women’s History Month and what better way to celebrate than by recognizing six history-making women in our community ✨

Despite the countless ways women have shaped our world, their stories are still too often missing from the history we’re taught. A national analysis of U.S. K–12 history standards found that only about 11% of historical figures taught in schools are women - meaning students learn about roughly eight men for every one woman (National Women’s History Museum, 2017).

For 40 years, Women of Achievement has worked to help change that by honoring women whose courage, determination, vision, and leadership shape Memphis and beyond.

Join us Sunday, March 29 at Playhouse on the Square for the 40th Women of Achievement Awards.

✨ Reception & book signing: 3:00 PM
🏆 Awards ceremony: 4:30 PM
🎟 Tickets available via the link in bio or on Eventbrite under “Women of Achievement.”

Black History Month is still here! Today we would like to highlight a few Black women who helped shape society through pioneering contributions to civil rights, abolition, science, and arts. Black women have consistently led the fight for equality, have been essential to humanity’s greatest scientific achievements, have broken historic barriers to shape national and international policy and have redefined the global cultural landscape through literature, art, and buisness.
