Yesterday I had the privilege of sharing my platform as a candidate for City Council District 3 with the Democratic Women of Shelby County (DWSC). We focused on the issue that impact women. I am one who believes anything that impacts women also impacts men. Being a husband to a wife, father of 4 daughters, grandfather to 9 granddaughters and 1 great granddaughter beside my mom, aunts, sisters, nieces, cousins, and friends their issues are my issues. We are tied together by love and blood. I was happy because as a man I am a candidate that has been endorsed by an awesome woman our very own City Councilwoman Patrice Robinson. 8 women made up of my family and friends attend this event to support me. 2 leading members of the DWSC were present and knew me for my leadership and my work with them in creating solutions for community issues.

I look forward to working with the women of the DWSC and women throughout our city in making our city a place for all to live, work and prosper. We are better together so I ask for your vote to become your servant City Councilman for District 3. Early voting starts September 15th - 30th. Election day October 5th.
