Yesterday I attended the Sheriff's Debate and it was a bit different from the Mayor's Debate. Looking at them on the stage, they seemed prepared until the questions began. Now mind you, I'm no expert but if you're going to run for office, you should give details with plans and cost. Some talked about strategic plans (with no details) and this LIBRA need details. We all agreed the office needs transparency and more community presence.

CHP needs to talk with each candidate to get their perspective on incarnation of those with mental illness and how this office needs to improve care. We all know the bureaucracy involved here with dollars and cents thus leaving those needing care locked-up just waiting on a court date. I'm inviting all Sheriff candidates to be a guest on my podcast. Keisha Scott has already accepted who's next. One of CHP's mission is access to quality care and regardless if you're incarnated, you still deserve decent care. The Sheriff's office has always been supportive of CHP events and I hope it continues with the next administration.

Every morning I thank God for all His blessings seen and unseen. His unseen has been so abundant I know He wants me to give back.

This week I attended "TSD In The Community Forum - Women in Leadership"
Topics included: education, leadership journey, and the difference between being respected and being heard. The panelists were motivating, encouraging, but most of all real. No fluff just facts and honesty.

Each panelist had to answer the final question in one word. "The most powerful woman in the room is: giving, empathetic, loving, and graceful." The panelist has motivate me to keep fighting and never give up. It not a sprint it's a marathon and I have to keep a good pair of running shoes.

This past weekend was full of excitement! It started with SCDP Unity Prayer Breakfast and yes, the food was good. It was well attended; the speaker was amazing, and I made a few new friends. Next I was off to the DWSC Meeting; it was election day and what an election it was. Congratulations to all the newly elected Officers of the Executive Committee. The last stop was DrTelisa Franklin II kickoff and it was amazing (not one pic 😞)

Good luck to all the candidates this 2026 election cycle..

Now let's get back to the business of Healthcare. It's 2026 and we need to review benefits for the upcoming year; meaning it's time for me to get back on the air. Stay tuned, because coming soon, serious conversations!

Special announcement coming soon!
