What an incredible day! 💙⛳️

We are so thankful for everyone who helped make the Mitch Meier Memorial Drive for Thrive benefiting THRIVE Memphis such a HUGE success! We truly couldn’t have asked for better weather or a more beautiful day to celebrate Mitch’s memory and support a cause that meant so much to him.

There were plenty of laughs, great golf, wonderful memories, and so many amazing people who came together to make the day special. We are incredibly grateful to every golfer, sponsor, donor, volunteer, and friend who supported us. ❤️

We can’t wait to do it all again next year! Until then, enjoy a few of our favorite pictures from an unforgettable day. 📸

🎉🎂 Yesterday was a day full of celebrating at THRIVE! 🎉

We celebrated THRIVE’s favorite twins, Darlene & Arlene, with a fun piñata, birthday cake, and ice cream! 🪅🍰🍦 These two sweet ladies sure know how to make a day extra special!

We also celebrated our August & September staff birthdays with a delicious Chick-fil-A lunch! 🐔🎈

Lots of birthday smiles, sweet treats, and fun memories made all around! What a GREAT day at THRIVE! 💙💛

🍂☀️ We may be back for the fall semester, but it sure still feels like summer! We’ve been keeping cool by hanging out at the library and making a sweet stop at Duck Donuts. 📚🍩😎

We’re definitely ready for those cooler temperatures to arrive, but until then, we’re soaking up the sunshine, making memories, and having fun along the way! 💙

This week, our groups found some fun ways to beat the heat! 🌿🍧

Some of our participants headed to the Botanic Gardens, where we enjoyed the shade, cooled off with popsicles, and spent some relaxing time by the beautiful koi pond. 🐟🌸

Another group stayed cool while browsing the owls at Target and enjoying a refreshing slushy! 🦉🥤

We’ve definitely made the most of these summer days, but we’re officially ready for those cooler temperatures! 🍂😎

🚒🔥 Group C had an exciting day at the Memphis Fire Museum! We had so much fun exploring the facility, learning about the important work our Memphis firefighters do, and checking out some really cool fire history. 🚨

A huge THANK YOU to the Memphis Fire Museum team for taking time out of their day to give us such a fun and informative tour! We learned so much and truly enjoyed every minute. ❤️

We can’t wait for the other THRIVE groups to get their turn! 🚒😊

🍴👩‍🍳 Cooking Club with Group B! 👨‍🍳🍴

Last Thursday, Group B put their cooking skills to work! They started by deciding together what they wanted to make—and the winning choice was Puppy Chow! 🐶🍫

Next stop: Kroger! 🛒 Everyone helped shop for the ingredients, and our participants even got to practice using the self-checkout. Talk about real-life skills! 🙌

Then it was back to Thrive to put everything together. The result? One delicious, yummy snack that everyone was excited to enjoy! 😋

We love watching our participants make choices, work as a team, build independence, and have FUN along the way! ❤️
