CSLA is hosting their 3rd annual Breakfast For The Homeless September 26 at Court Square Park

HOW CAN YOU HELP 👇🏾👇🏾👇🏾

We’re preparing to serve a fresh breakfast to our unhoused neighbors and we’re looking for community members who would like to donate fresh breakfast pastries, individual juices, whole fruit (oranges, apples, bananas), coffee, and other breakfast goodies. 🍊🍌☕️🥐
No donation is too small—every contribution helps us serve with dignity, love, and compassion. ❤️

Five Senses Farming Agriculture & Culinary Arts is heading to Detroit, Michigan!!!!! Sept 8-12th because of the work I’ve been doing and, more specifically, a journal article I contributed to on People’s Practice back in 2024 . 📝✨

To see the work, experiences, and knowledge I’ve gained through my community work recognized in a journal is such a full-circle moment for me. What started as an idea, a passion, and a commitment to serving my community has now created opportunities for me to sit at tables in places I never imagined I would be.

And now… Detroit is one of those tables! 🙌🏾✈️

This trip is an opportunity for me to network, learn, connect with other changemakers, share my experiences, and represent the work happening here in Memphis through Five Senses Farming Agriculture & Culinary Arts. 🌱👩🏾‍🍳

I’m also reaching out to my community because I could use a little help getting there. 💚

If you would like to donate toward my Detroit trip, any amount would be greatly appreciated. Whether it’s $5, $10, $25, $50, or whatever you’re able to give, you are helping me walk through a door that my work has opened.

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of graduating my first farming and agriculture youth cohort with Five Senses Farming Agriculture & Culinary Arts in collobration with Protect Our Aquifer and Rhodes College.

These past couple of months preparing for this cohort was not easy the enemy tried his best to discourage me and wanted me to throw in the towel,but one thing the enemy doesn't know about me is that FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!!!

Thank you to everyone that supported me on this journey🫂👩🏽‍🌾🌿👩🏽‍🔬🔬🧬🧪
