We believe these schools offer wonderful educational opportunities in their communities, and also work to invest their students with the virtues Drew believed in.

Dear Libertas community,

Read this message online: https://tinyurl.com/LibertasMiddleCampus

We are thrilled to announce that our new middle school - opening next month in our current building - will have a wonderful and permanent home of its own, starting in fall 2025! We have just acquired the Frayser campus of Southwest Tennessee Community College.

This historic campus is literally right around the corner from us, at 3833 Mountain Terrace. It features a main building with numerous classrooms, a library, and science and computer labs; it also has a gym building, and extensive fields that we will use for athletics and also gardening. Stay tuned in the months to come for more news about the extensive upgrades we are planning, including renovations for fine arts (a multi purpose performing space) and “manual arts” (a workshop and learning kitchen).

This will be a perfect facility for our human-centered learning model and “micro-economy,’ where students can integrate their academic learning with hands-on projects that materially benefit their community. We will be in touch soon, as we will need each of your help with this transformation!

We are so excited to officially launch our first Camino a la Paz / The Way to Peace! November 4, 2023 - gates open at 1 pm.

This will be a fun, family friendly day on our amazing 140 acres of beautiful outdoor space and miles of hiking trails.

We invite you to come and enjoy our new Frisbee Golf track, hike our miles of trails, enjoy other outdoor games and activities, live music and amazing BBQ from the St. Louis Men's Club.

Most importantly, we hope you will join us for peaceful prayer with the Rainer, Mauck, Grauer and other families who have experienced loss through violence. Our Community and World is in desperate need of prayer and healing.

Bishop David P. Talley will celebrate the vigil Mass outdoors around 4 PM with a Eucharistic Procession and Prayer for Peace and Healing. It will be a beautiful setting as the sun sets and our miles of trails are lit by fire light for your continued enjoyment into the night.

And no event in SEC country would be complete without the games on - so please know they will be!

Register for this FREE event and consider a sponsorship to support Our Lady Queen of Peace and all of our efforts to promote the only solution to the challenges of this world - PRAYER - Camino a la Paz / The Way to Peace!
