On October 3, 2021, Drew Rainer was taken from us in a senseless act of evil. Our family wants to honor Drew by responding to this evil with love. With this in mind, we have established the Drew Rainer Memorial Fund at the Community Foundation of Greater Memphis. Our hope is that people will be inspired by Drew’s example, in how he lived and how he treated the people around him with love. Among Drew’s best qualities are: Humility, Gentleness, Joyfulness, Selflessness, Authenticity, Diligence, Perseverance, Honesty, Gratitude, Helpfulness, Maturity, Loyalty, Faithfulness, Responsibility, and Dependability. Drew loved with great intensity, and showed enormous courage and self sacrifice. Paul Catholic School in Whitehaven, and Libertas School in Frayser. We believe these schools offer wonderful educational opportunities in their communities, and also work to invest their students with the virtues Drew believed in.
