We are a nonsectarian group of film lovers in the Memphis area that meet monthly (on Zoom for the time being) to discuss films that are either explicitly left leaning in their message or deal with subject matter that is fundamental to left politics.

Hey y’all! Welcome to the new page for the Memphis Lefty Film Club. We are now a independent organization that will continue to hold monthly discussions on lefty films that are democratically voted on by our membership. Membership is free and open to all who agree that everyone, no matter the circumstances of their birth, should has the right to live a life free from oppression. We meet the last Tuesday of every month (online over zoom, for now) to discuss films and hope to see you at a meeting soon! If you have any questions, we would be happy to answer them.
