Today, we honor and remember the brave men and women who gave their lives while serving our country.

Originally known as Decoration Day, Memorial Day began as a time to decorate the graves of fallen soldiers and has grown into a national day of remembrance for all who made the ultimate sacrifice in military service.

As we gather with family and community, may we also take time to reflect on the courage, service, and sacrifice that this day represents.

Mr. Burroughs shared his journey from humble beginnings in Lane, South Carolina, to building a successful business and a legacy of leadership and service. He encouraged students to take risks and lead with purpose as they navigate their own paths.
