Our main event is the Juneteenth Celebration and the return of the Annual “Can You Cue?” Contest! 🎉🔥

These exciting events will be happening at the same time, bringing the Orange Mound community together for a day full of fun, food, entertainment, and fellowship!

Inside the Orange Mound Community Center, we will have:
🏀 A Basketball Tournament (teams can sign up at the door)
🛍 Vendor Tables
🎉 And much more!
‼️ Shelby County Election Commission will be available for Voter’s Registration and address changes, etc.‼️

Outside the center on the surrounding streets, the Annual “Can You Cue?” Contest will be taking place alongside:
🍖 Food Trucks
🛒 Local Vendors
🥁 performance by The Sound of The Mound Drumline

This is a big community event, and it is important that the Orange Mound community continues to celebrate the meaning and importance of Juneteenth — honoring freedom, culture, history, and unity. ❤️🖤💚

Kicking off our OMCG Juneteenth Celebration Weekend with an exciting Game Night at the Harriet Performance Arts Center! 🎉

Join us for a night of fun, fellowship, music, and community as we come together to celebrate culture, unity, and history. A DJ will be in attendance to keep the vibes going all night long! 🎶

🕖 Game Night starts at 7:00 PM and ends at 10:00 PM.

Admission is $10 at the door!!!!

This event is about bringing the community back together, strengthening bonds, and remembering the importance of Juneteenth — a powerful reminder of freedom, resilience, and African American history. It is also a time to honor the pride, legacy, and strength of the Orange Mound community. ❤️🖤💚
