I'm posting this again. The cooler has not yet been returned. Some say "it's just a cooler". Well, it belongs to someone who uses it for many charity events. Sponsorship is not free, supplies are not free. To think that someone took something from an event that was meant to give, saddens me. Just a reminder, it WAS SEEN leaving the parking lot. Saturday 9/20 was a spectacular day! The 6th Annual Lisa Babbitt Memorial Foundation Golf Outing was a huge success!! We could not have asked for better weather. We thank each and every one of you who came out to support the cause. The fun and camaraderie were palpable!!
Thank you to ALL of our generous sponsors.
During my closing speech, I failed to thank some of the most important people.....OUR VOLUNTEERS!!! The day of the event, they donate 12-plus hours of their time to help make our event run smoothly....and I am proud of them, and proud to say, they stepped up to the challenge again and our event ran smoothly!🥰
If you have pictures, send them to me to post. A special thanks to Cheryl Hazelton-Moore and Fred J Moore for allowing us to cruise around the course in style with their zippy little golf cart!
Side Note..Someone took home a red STATE FARM cooler.... it was NOT a prize! Please return it to the course, no questions asked.
