This program will challenge attendees to think about where America started as a country, where it is, and where we want it to end up. The webinar will expose how deeply encoded white supremacy and the oppression of African-Americans is in our nation’s history. The program will explore how legalized discrimination and state-sanctioned brutality, murder, dispossession, and disenfranchisement handicapped African- Americans’ ability to create and accumulate wealth and gain access to jobs, housing, education, and healthcare.
