Farewell 💛
After nearly five incredible years, we are stepping away from our roles as Club Director and Program Director of the Boys & Girls Club serving Melrose High School. It has truly been an honor and a privilege to serve the amazing students of the Orange Mound community.
To the students, thank you for allowing us to be part of your journey. Watching you grow, overcome challenges, celebrate victories, and become leaders has been one of the greatest blessings of our lives.
Personally, I will miss the community that welcomed me with open arms from day one. The unwavering support of Melrose High School and the Orange Mound community is the ONLY reason we were able to grow, thrive, and make an impact over these past almost five years. You embraced us, encouraged us, and reminded us every day what community truly looks like.
While we’re saying goodbye to these positions, we’re not saying goodbye to the memories, the relationships, or the love we have for this school and this community. Orange Mound and Melrose will always hold a special place in our hearts. 💛
Thank you for trusting us, believing in us, and allowing us to serve. It has been an unforgettable journey.
