Middle-class families often get stuck in the gap—not low enough income for major federal grants, but not wealthy enough to skip the stress. But you can still make it work if you move smart. No-essay, last-minute scholarships won’t carry you—you need consistency. Start early. Apply often. There’s a lot of underused scholarship money out there.

This is your reminder that your future doesn’t have to be either/or.

You can ask questions. You can explore options. You can talk to admissions counselors about your goals and create a pathway that works for you.

And you don’t have to let fear make the decision for you.
If something is on your heart, it’s worth taking seriously.

Last week I had the privilege of representing the private school pathway at Grizzlies Prep’s High School Informational Night. 🎓

Families had the chance to learn about all four pathways—private, charter, public, and optional—and ask questions to help them make the best choice for their child’s future.

Grateful to stand alongside these amazing educators and thankful to Ms. Denetria Shirley for organizing such an intentional evening, and to Nashayla Yancey from Choose901 Alumni for bringing us all together. 💙
