Four years ago today, this young man, Elijah Beaty, went to be with the Lord.

After returning from a missions trip, Elijah became sick with malaria and never recovered. While his passing seemed unfair, unimaginable, and downright horrific, we know that even in the midst of such heartbreak, God was still in control.

In the four years since Elijah went to Heaven, thousands of people have heard and read his testimony. Tens of thousands of Gospel tracts sharing Elijah’s story and the message of salvation have been distributed around the world in eight different languages. Hundreds of young people have heard about Elijah’s heart for God and have been challenged by his example.

Four years later, Elijah’s earthly life may have ended, but the impact of his life and testimony continues to reach people with the Gospel!

We are so thankful to have had the privilege of knowing Elijah Beaty and serving alongside him.

We are equally blessed to know the Beaty family and to have witnessed their incredible testimony of faith and strength through the unimaginable grief of losing Elijah.

To the Beaty family, your faithfulness through the heartbreak, your unwavering trust in the Lord, and your continued desire to see others reached with the Gospel are a testimony all their own.

You all make Jesus look really good!

Yesterday we had the privilege of being with New Hope Baptist Church in Holly Springs, TN. The Gallaghers and several families in the e church have become good friends of ours. We were thankful to be able to spend a Sunday with them.
Also yesterday, a new church in Sherri Town, Sierra Leone had its first official Sunday service. Disciples have been meeting for some time here, but yesterday they had their opening service, praise the Lord! Would you take. A minute to pray for this new church?
