Danz901 Little Feet, Big Dreams!! Danz901 Foundation is a non-profit that is fully devoted to providing technical dance training to youth of Memphis.

This is a movement about empowering people to be a part of things they enjoy without focusing on judgment or being overly conscious of how they look but instead putting that energy into how the activity makes them feel. There are no limitations on what you can learn to do with instruction, knowledge and the will to achieve from educational, financial and fitness goals it can be done. Watching peop

le who truly enjoy movement and dance are most enjoyable because the energy transfers from them to the audience. Building confidence, strong bodies and healthy minds will be a focus as part of the child and adult programs. Affordability is possible for some and impossible for others so allowing students to attend based on their parent’s or guardian’s income is a major part of the program. It will be our duty to be inclusive of those who are unable to pay full or partial tuition because those students deserve the opportunity to have experiences and exposure in the arts. One of our major goals is to have a studio in 38106 to provide services to the South Memphis community. There are studios throughout the city but very few if any in 38106 that offer ballet, tap, jazz and hip
hop. Why do these children miss out on the opportunity to learn and be exposed to dance in different forms? The goal is to provide not only a physical outlet for children in the area but to offer them the opportunity to experience a world of endless possibilities.

DanzHouse is excited to offer a FREE dance class for children ages 5-12! This is the perfect opportunity for your child to explore dance, build confidence, and have fun in a supportive environment. No prior dance experience is required!

Adult Line Dance Party - We are ready to launch. Danz901 Foundation will provide dance instruction to children ages 2-18. This is also More Than Danz, from building self-esteem and encouraging positive self-talk to nutrition and fighting childhood obesity then further exploring other cultures. This is a great opportunity to support the cause and I look forward to seeing you there. This fundraiser will support our scholarship fund and community outreach program.

RESPECT!!!

One of the most important lessons we can teach children is respect for human beings, care and concern for the well-being of others. As adults, we can help children better understand when we lead by example, showing respect in interactions with others and by showing appreciation. These discussions can take place in early childhood when children are learning about the world around them, it often only takes a few minutes of age-appropriate conversation to talk about respect for themselves and others. Talk about what it looks like and how it feels, then let them know when they are doing a great job showing respect.
