Last week, we had the honor of celebrating Bott Radio Network’s 40th anniversary alongside fellow believers and ministry partners! Our history with Bott runs deep: Life Choices co-founder Buck Jones helped establish Bott Radio here in Memphis 40 years ago too. What a joy to celebrate four decades of ministry together!

As a presenting sponsor, we were humbled to celebrate the Lord’s faithfulness through Bott Radio and the ways He continues to use this ministry in His eternal plan of redemption. The evening was filled with fellowship, gratitude, and a shared desire to make much of Jesus.

One of the night’s most meaningful moments was receiving Bott Radio’s Generation of Life Award, presented “in recognition of the 40-year legacy of Life Choices, celebrating thousands of children who grew up, had families of their own, and are alive today because of their mission.”

We receive this honor with humble hearts, knowing that every life, every story, and every year of ministry is a testament to God’s goodness. May we continue to speak for those who cannot speak for themselves land faithfully serve the women, men, and babies He entrusts to our care.

All glory to the Lord for 40 years and for all He has yet to do!

This week, we celebrated and said “see you later” to our dear Joyce Lomo, who has faithfully served as a Client Advocate at Life Choices for the past 6 years 🧡✨💐🫂

As Joyce and her family prepare to move to Virginia and follow the Lord’s call, we’re filled with gratitude for the ways He has worked through her life in this ministry.

Joyce has been a staple at our Poplar clinic, and we truly can’t imagine it without her! Her faithful service has touched the lives of countless women and babies, and her impact will never be forgotten.

Joyce— we love you, we’re cheering you on, and we can’t wait to see all the Lord has in store for you and your family as you take this next step of faith. We’re excited to watch you take this bull by the horns and we know the Lord will continue to use you in mighty ways wherever He leads!

The next generation is putting their faith into action! 💚✨🍼👏🏻

Yesterday, students from Briarcrest Christian School joined us for Briarcrest’s Serve Day, helping with projects around the clinic, preparing for our upcoming banquet, and learning more about the ministry of Life Choices.

We also partnered with Memphis Coalition For Life and the students helped pack blessing bags for sidewalk advocates to share with the women outside Planned Parenthood!

What a joy it was to see these students serve our community with willing hands, eagerness, and compassionate hearts! Briarcrest— thank you for investing your time and talents in the work the Lord is doing through our ministry. Our ministry was so incredibly blessed by your service!

September brought full rooms, meaningful conversations, new beginnings, and countless opportunities to point women and families toward hope. 🍂☕️🤎✨

We’re so incredibly grateful for every conversation, every ultrasound, every resource provided, every prayer prayed, and every life touched. And we’re even more thankful that He is the One who makes this ministry fruitful.

Our Director of Community Relations, Rachel Santucci Davis, had the privilege of sharing a ministry update, enjoying a meal, and spending time with the GCL family.

We’re so thankful for churches who don’t just partner with us, but welcome us in like family. What a gift to serve alongside a church family that cares deeply about women, men, and babies in our community!

“Hi, I’m Marion Weaver, and I’m so grateful to be joining the team at Life Choices of Memphis. I’m honored and humbled to serve alongside such a dedicated and godly team.
 
I’ve had the privilege of working with women and new moms for many years. I’ve seen first hand how powerful it is when someone feels seen, heard, encouraged, and reminded of God’s love. One of the things I love most is building genuine relationships, making disciples, and seeing God work in people’s lives. There is something incredibly special about watching a woman find hope, discover her God-given purpose, and realize she doesn’t have to walk through life alone.
 
I’m blessed with many children and grandchildren, and Jesus is the most important part of who I am and what I hope others see in me.
 
I’m excited about this new chapter and all that God has ahead. I’d love to get to know you, too — what is God doing in your life right now?”

A new Life Choices Club is launching at ECS! 🚌✨📚

Last Tuesday, our CEO, Shelley Deaux Sumner, had the privilege of speaking at Evangelical Christian School for the launch of their new Life Choices Club!

We’re so encouraged to see students stepping up to learn, serve, and stand for life. What a joy to invest in the next generation and equip young people to be a voice for life in their schools and communities!

Thank you ECS Eagles for your willingness to create space for conversations about the value of every human life. We can’t wait to see all that the Lord will do through this new club!

The next generation matters. Their voices matter. Every life is valuable and worth choosing and cherishing.

We’re honored to share a special episode of The Pro-Life Team Podcast featuring our CEO, Shelley Deaux Sumner, alongside Laura Messick, founder and Executive Director of Portico in Murfreesboro.

Both pregnancy centers are celebrating 40 years of ministry this year — and for the first time on the podcast, they turned the tables and interviewed each other!

From the unlikely beginnings of their callings to stories of changed lives, they talk about what 40 years in pregnancy ministry has taught them about faithfulness, prayer, unity, and the power of the Lord to do exceedingly abundantly more than we can ask or imagine.

October carries a particular weight for many families 🩵🕊️💐✨

During Pregnancy and Infant Loss Awareness Month, we pause to remember the babies whose lives were far too brief and to honor the mothers, fathers, siblings, and families who carry their absence.

Grief and hope can exist together; sorrow and joy. We may not have answers for every loss, but we know the One who holds every life in His hands. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, and He meets us in places of unimaginable sorrow with His perfect presence, comfort, and steadfast loving-kindness.

To the parents grieving a baby you never got to bring home or a child whose days were fewer than you hoped: your baby’s life mattered. Your grief matters. And you are not alone.

This month, we remember. We grieve. We pray. And we cling to the hope we have in Christ — that death does not have the final word 🦋💞
