What's your story? Everyone has one and we'd love to hear yours!

The New Beginnings blog, a La Leche League USA publication, is looking for readers to share their experiences with human milk feeding (breastfeeding, chestfeeding, expressing, etc.), pregnancy, birth, parenting (gentle discipline, sibling relationships, parenting with or without a partner), recipe/nutrition ideas, book reviews, photos of your family life in action, and so much more.

Share your experiences using narratives, poetry, creative writing, photographs, and/or artwork. All are welcome. Please send your questions and/or submissions to [email protected]. We’re excited to hear from you and share your stories!

The transition to parenthood can bring overwhelm, worry, and sadness - especially with little sleep and the demands of a newborn. Because these feelings are not talked about enough, many mothers may feel alone, despite nearly 85% of women reporting mood disturbances following birth.

While it's quite common to experience "baby blues" during the first two weeks post birth, feelings of sadness, worry, or overwhelm that persist may warrant a closer look.

If you're feeling isolated or alone, please know there are resources available to provide support. You can find them linked below.
