✈️ Today was a busy day in Scouting! ⚜️

Our Cub Scouts explored aerodynamics by building and testing paper airplanes, while our Scouts BSA worked on knot-tying skills needed to advance to their next rank. 🪢

Hands-on learning. New skills. New friends. Lots of fun.

That’s Scouting! ⚜️

Our Scouts had an incredible adventure at the Ducks Unlimited Expedition this past Saturday!

🎯 They tested their skills with archery
🎣 Learned the basics of fly fishing
🦉 Got up close with a Screech Owl and Barn Owl
🐕 Watched an amazing bird dog show off its skills
🌿 And got to experience the outdoors in a whole new way!

This is what Scouting is all about—getting outside, trying new things, learning real skills, and making memories with friends that last a lifetime.

You never know what adventure is waiting around the next trail. Come see what Scouting is all about!

⛺️ Great first day back to Scouts for the school year! 💙

It was so good catching up with old friends and welcoming some new faces to the group! We’re excited for another year of learning, growing, and making memories together.

🐻 The Cubs had a blast building popsicle-stick catapults and seeing just how far they could launch their marshmallows! 😂

🏕️ Meanwhile, the boys are already getting to work planning out their year, setting goals, and putting some merit badges in their sights. Lots of exciting things ahead!

Here’s to a great year of Scouting America, adventure, friendships, and maybe a little marshmallow chaos along the way! ⚜️

🇺🇸 Happy 4th of July! 🇺🇸

Today we celebrate 250 years of American independence and, this year, 100 years of the National Jewish Committee on Scouting.

Both anniversaries remind us that strong communities are built by investing in the next generation. Through Scouting, young people learn leadership, service, character, and friendship that last a lifetime.

If you’ve been thinking about Scouting for your family, there’s never been a better time to join.

Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸⚜️

This Memorial Day, our Scouts at Temple Israel (Memphis) paused to remember the heroes who gave everything for our freedom. 🇺🇸

Through service, respect, and leadership, Scouting teaches young people the importance of honoring those who came before us and giving back to their community.

If your family is looking for adventure, friendship, and opportunities to grow, come see what Scouting is all about. Join us and be part of something bigger. ⚜️ Ages 5-17

Leadership. Service. Adventure. The path to Eagle Scout builds confidence, character, and lifelong skills that last far beyond the badge. Scouting opens the door for youth to lead, grow, and serve their community in meaningful ways—come see what it’s all about and join us today.

We’re especially excited that three of our Scouts at Temple Israel recently officially joined Scouts BSA and are now beginning their journey. They can start earning merit badges and working toward the rank of Eagle Scout, and we can’t wait to see what this incredible group will accomplish.

Thinking about joining the trail to Eagle yourself? Reach out today and discover what Scouting can offer you!

Today our Temple Israel (Memphis) Scouts and the The Chickasaw Council, Scouting America along with other local Troops had the honor of placing flags at the veterans cemetery in remembrance of the brave men and women who gave everything for our country. 🇺🇸

This meaningful tradition helps teach our Scouts the true importance of Memorial Day — honoring sacrifice, showing respect, and remembering those who served before us. Seeing our youth take time to serve and reflect is what Scouting is all about.

We are proud of these young leaders for helping keep the memory of our heroes alive. ❤️🤍💙
