Today we celebrate 250 years of American independence and, this year, 100 years of the National Jewish Committee on Scouting.

Both anniversaries remind us that strong communities are built by investing in the next generation. Through Scouting, young people learn leadership, service, character, and friendship that last a lifetime.

We’re especially excited that three of our Scouts at Temple Israel recently officially joined Scouts BSA and are now beginning their journey. They can start earning merit badges and working toward the rank of Eagle Scout, and we can’t wait to see what this incredible group will accomplish.

Today our Temple Israel (Memphis) Scouts and the The Chickasaw Council, Scouting America along with other local Troops had the honor of placing flags at the veterans cemetery in remembrance of the brave men and women who gave everything for our country. 🇺🇸

This meaningful tradition helps teach our Scouts the true importance of Memorial Day — honoring sacrifice, showing respect, and remembering those who served before us. Seeing our youth take time to serve and reflect is what Scouting is all about.

We are proud of these young leaders for helping keep the memory of our heroes alive. ❤️🤍💙

Big night for Pack 25! 🔥

We’re so proud to celebrate 3 of our Cub Scouts crossing over to Boy Scout Troop 25—what an exciting next step in their journey! 👏

We also had several Cub Scouts rank up, showing off their hard work, growth, and dedication this year. It’s amazing to watch these kids learn, lead, and thrive together.
