As Season 16 comes to a close, we're reflecting on a year filled with artistry, growth, community, and possibility.

From the stage to the studio, from our youngest Conservatory students to adult dancers discovering the joy of movement, this season was made possible by people who believe in the power of dance to transform lives.

Every performance, every class, every breakthrough moment, and every standing ovation tells a larger story about what's possible when a community invests in its artists and young people.

As we approach June 30, we're working to close out our fiscal year strong. If Collage Dance has inspired, moved, or impacted you this season, we hope you'll consider making a gift and helping us end Season 16 on a sweet note.

🍭✨ Our SOLD-OUT performance of Charlene and the Chocolate Factory takes the stage this afternoon, and we can’t wait to welcome our guests to experience a world of pure imagination. ✨🍫

Through months of dedication, imagination, and preparation, our students have worked so hard to create a super sweet performance filled with wonder, joy, and candy-coated delight.

🍭To ensure ample time for parking, ticketing, and seating, we strongly recommend all guests arrive by 2:30 p.m. Guests arriving after the 3:00 p.m. start of the performance will be seated at intermission only. ✨No exceptions.✨

What unfolded during our evening with Dr. Jericho Brown was a reminder of what the arts make possible. Through poetry, movement, music, and conversation, we experienced the power of creative expression to ground us more deeply in our humanity and expand what we believe is possible for ourselves and for one another.

Thank you to Jericho for his generosity, presence, and the gift of his words. Thank you to Dr. DiAnne Malone for your bold vision, support, and collaboration. And thank you to our Conservatory students and artistic leadership team for nurturing such an inspiring gathering.

We see every day what happens when young people are given spaces rooted in discipline, excellence, creativity, and belief in their potential. When young people are nurtured, they grow.

As we close our 16th season and work toward raising $75,000 by June 30th, we invite you to help sustain our work, with a gift of any size, at collagedance.org.

For 16 seasons, Collage has helped young people rise through discipline, excellence, creativity, and opportunity.

100% of our seniors matriculate to college or professional training programs, and our latest graduating class earned more than $4 million in scholarships.

As public support shrinks, the need grows. Before June 30, we’re raising $75,000 to sustain scholarships, training, performances, and programs that continue changing lives across Memphis.

This is bigger than ballet. It’s about what’s possible when young people are supported, challenged, and believed in. 💙

🍭✨ Charlene and the Chocolate Factory, our annual student concert taking place Sunday, May 31st at the Cannon Center, is nearly sold out!✨🍬

Each year more than 300 students from the Collage Dance Conservatory training in ballet, jazz, tap and West African dance present delightful performances and this one is shaping up to be the sweetest one yet.
