For months, communities in South Memphis have been told to ignore what they can smell, feel, and see. But residents
deserve real answers about the air we breathe and the impact pollution is having on our neighborhoods.

On May 21, Memphis Community Against Pollution (MCAP) and the Center for Engagement in Environmental Justice and Health will release findings from months of air quality research and community investigation. This is about transparency, accountability, and the right of every family to clean air and healthy communities.

If you’ve ever asked:
• Why does the air smell like that?
• Where is the pollution coming from?
• Is our air quality getting better?
