This celebration is bigger than grades and diplomas. It’s about honoring the hard work, growth, perseverance, and determination of our young people. Every assignment completed, every obstacle pushed through, and every milestone reached deserves to be recognized.

At Red Door Urban Missions, we believe our scholars deserve to be celebrated loudly, encouraged intentionally, and reminded that their future matters. This is our way of saying: “We see you. We’re proud of you. Keep going.”

This summer, we’re creating more than just a camp—we’re building a space where our children can grow, learn, and thrive. The S.T.A.R. Summer Camp is designed for 1st–5th grade scholars, providing a safe, structured, and engaging environment where learning meets fun and purpose.

📚 TCAP SEASON IS HERE — LET’S SHOW UP FOR OUR SCHOLARS

The 2026 TCAP Assessment starts tomorrow, and we need some people willing to step in the gap and stand with our scholars at Wi******er Elementary.

🗓 April 13 – April 24 -830am- 11am
We’re looking for folks who can help serve as:
✔️ Test Proctors
✔️ Hall Monitors

Nothing complicated. Just strong presence, encouragement, and support while our scholars do their thing.

Sometimes what our scholars need most is adults who care enough to show up.
This is part of what we do at Red Door Urban Missions —
Faith in action. Presence in the community.

Today's Community Thanksgiving Celebration with our precious friends in Hillview Village Apartments was truly a blessing.

S/O to all the support from our dear friends from Grace Evan Missions to the faithful men of Fullview Missionary Baptist Church, and traveling all the way from the Birmingham area our beloved friends from First Baptist Church of Pelham to the Awesome Property Manager, Feleicia Scaife for always supporting her communities to our always present friends from Alcy Ball Development Corporation to our new friends from The Gift Center Church, Pastor Barry to the incomparable Michelle Renee Jones for the delicious food and to the fabulous DJ SMOOVV for keeping the Thanksgiving vibe hyped up!
