Over 200 Educators gathered at the Memphis-Shelby County Education Association on Monday, June 1 to learn more about the state's handling of the new cut scores. Present were state legislators, school board members and representatives of the state department of education.

The 36th annual M-SCEA National Teacher Day Banquet is Friday, May 8 at the Memphis Hilton. Tickets go on sale Monday, March 23 and are $35 each. There will be special recognition of M-SCEA members who are retiring this year. Tickets for participating retirees will be complimentary.
