Hey y’all! Memphis Tenants Union is hosting another renter blitz and WE NEED YOUR HELP!

What is a renter blitz? A renter blitz is when Memphis Tenants Union asks renters in Memphis about THEIR housing concerns and lets them know their power in a union!

MTU NEEDS ALL HANDS ON DECK TO REACH AS MANY RENTERS IN MEMPHIS!!!!!

Do you want to build power? Have you personally experienced housing injustice in Memphis? Do you want to be apart of the change? Had a family member or friend experience terrible housing conditions?

THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO GET ACTIVE AND INVOLVED AND SUPPORT MEMPHIS!!!! Memphis NEEDS TENANT UNIONS! Memphians deserve better treatment in their housing and YOU can make that happen!

Memphis Tenants Union has officially launched AT-LARGE MEMBERSHIP! 🎊🎉

What does AT-LARGE MEMBERSHIP MEAN?

At-large membership gives EVERYONE in Memphis a chance to be apart of MTU!!!!

Working nights? No problem! Have kids? No problem! Busy on the weeknights? No problem! Just want to help support? NO PROBLEM!!

There is space for EVERYONE within the Memphis Tenants Union!

Requirements to join are:
-sign a union card
-sign up for dues
-GET INVOLVED!

MEMPHIS TENANTS OCTOBER BLITZ!!!!

MTU wants your help going out to talk to working class renters about their experiences. Folks are living with pests, mold, mildew, elevators not working, maintenance requests not being completed, plumbing coming up the drains, and more! We know that majority of renters have experienced unjust living conditions and are tired of nothing being done about it!

Why is this important??
Because housing has become unsustainable for ALL Memphians! THE RENT IS TOO DAMN HIGH and we deserve to live in quality apartments regardless of income or class! We want to learn what changes renters want to see and if they are ready to organize with their neighbors.

COME AND JOIN US at Rhodes College (613 University St, Memphis, TN 38107) on October 25th from 9-5:30 AND/OR October 26th at 12-5.
