The Memphis/Mid-South Chapter of the AFSP carries out the mission of the national organization within the service area of West Tennessee, East Arkansas, and North Mississippi. The American Foundation for Su***de Prevention’s page is a forum to communicate news and information and to create a community among individuals concerned about su***de prevention, coping with su***de loss and livin

Last month at AFSP's annual Chapter Leadership Conference, the Tennessee Chapter was recognized with two awards! Our Nashville Walk joined the Century Club by raising over $100,000 in 2022 and Tennessee was recognized with the Most Improved Chapter Award!

2022 was a year of significant growth for AFSP Tennessee, here are just a few of the things that our chapter accomplished last year:
- We created three new committees to better serve Tennesseans across the state
- We tabled at three Pride festivals
- We brought su***de prevention and su***de bereavement education to local clergy and clinicians
- We provided su***de prevention education to over 700 Tennesseans

Our incredible community of supporters, walkers, donors, and volunteers made this happen. We are so grateful for everyone who has been part of our mission to save lives and bring hope to those affected by su***de in Tennessee. Let's see what we can do together in 2023!
