Wow, what an exciting week it’s been with our two biggest events happening simultaneously! 😮‍💨✨

A huge thank you to our amazing volunteers, partners, and board members who stepped up with so much energy! When we sent out an SOS, you all not only showed up—you truly shined! This is what real partnership and dedication look like! Together, we saved lives and created some unforgettable memories during one of the hottest weeks of the year! 🌟

We are thrilled to share that last week, MSEPC Board Member Chris Reeves instructed a 40-hour HAZWOPER course for U.S. Coast Guard personnel at NSA Mid-South in Millington, Tennessee. Attendees represented both USCG Sector Lower Mississippi River and USCG Sector Ohio Valley, bringing together responders from Tennessee and Kentucky to strengthen hazardous materials response capabilities.
This collaboration reflects the Coalition’s ongoing commitment to advancing emergency preparedness and resilience throughout our region and beyond.😄👏🏼

We are excited to begin recruitment for the 2026 FedEx St. Jude Championship Golf Tournament! 😄
The Mid-South Emergency Planning Coalition is looking for dedicated clinical volunteers to support the Mobile Field Medical Tent during this year’s tournament. This is a great opportunity for medical professionals to serve the community, support a major regional event, and help provide a safe and positive experience for attendees. 👏
Volunteer support is needed from August 12 through August 16. Flexible shifts are available, with preferred times from 7:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. or 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Volunteers will receive free parking and access to the golf course on the day they volunteer outside of their scheduled shift.
Your time and expertise will make a meaningful difference. We hope you will consider joining us for this exciting event! ❤️

Yesterday, we rolled out the red tablecloth (and the grill) to celebrate our fantastic partnership with City of Memphis Office of Emergency Management (OEM)! Our board members joined us for a wonderful “thank you” lunch, and let’s just say, the food was a hit!❤️
A big shoutout to the OEM staff for grilling up some mouthwatering steak! If you haven’t tried their food before, you’re missing out on a culinary masterpiece!👌🏼🤩

Just last week, Bartlett Fire and the West TN EMS Directors Association came together to host a wonderful EMS Instructor Conference at The Venue. Over 100 enthusiastic EMS instructors joined, making it a lively event full of sharing ideas, building teamwork, and inspiring new innovations in emergency medical services.😊🚑📍

Today, Bartlett Fire and the West TN EMS Directors Association are thrilled to host the EMS Instructor Conference at The Venue! With over 100 dedicated EMS instructors in attendance, this conference promises to be a hub of knowledge, collaboration, and innovation in emergency medical services.

Our goal is to empower instructors with the latest techniques and tools to enhance their teaching and ultimately improve patient care.

It was an incredible experience packed with opportunities for learning and discovery. Exploring all the new features and figuring out better ways to navigate the system was both exciting and useful.
