Throwing it back to last year's Chalk Walk! Many of these talented artists will be back creating large panels at Ell Pond and City Hall on September 26th! More than three dozen artist and sponsor pairings make this the biggest Chalk Walk to date!

You can make your own square too! Join our community gallery at Ell Pond from 10am-1pm on 9/26. We'll provide the supplies! All donations support our Arts for All program.

What a delightful storytelling picnic out on the patio last week!

Storytelling will continue at FYACS with a new fall series at The Big Yellow House from 7:30-9:00PM (doors open at 7) on the following dates:

✅September 25th
✅October 14th
✅November 20th

Come with a prepared 5-8 minute true story from your life, and let's try out our stories together in a low-key, laid-back night. Not interested in telling a story just yet? Come and listen to others.

Additionally, a Recovery Month storytelling event "Voices of Recovery" will be held on October 1st from 6:30-8:30PM at the Melrose Public Library. This event is held in collaboration with Stellar Story Company, City of Melrose, and Melrose Health and Wellness Coalition.

Arts for All promotes equity and inclusion by offering tuition assistance scholarships, providing adaptive support for those who need specialized accommodations, and partnering with local organizations to create free, community arts projects that are open to all.

What a summer! From the multitude of critter characters in Imagination Stage to the rainy day chalk sessions, from magic noodle sculptures to pottery projects, we have had a wonderful time exploring, creating, and growing with you!

Make your mark at Chalk Walk! Community Gallery Chalk Walk squares are now available!

This year's Chalk Walk is on Saturday, September 26th from 10:00AM - 1:00PM

For a suggested donation, you get your very own square to chalk along the path next to the Ell Pond gazebo. We supply the materials, no experience required! Join dozens of families and local artists as we celebrate the arts in our community and raise funds to support Arts for All! Don't forget to check out the large panels being created by artists outside Melrose City Hall and along Ell Pond.

Chalk Walk is FYACS’ annual fall fundraiser for Arts for All, which promotes equity and inclusion by providing tuition assistance, adaptive services, outreach programs to underserved communities, and free community arts & culture projects for all.
