Melrose Running Club Melrose Running Club meets weekly at the Knights of Columbus, 23 W. Foster St. in Melrose on Tuesdays at 7 pm. All ages and abilities are welcome.

We are a diverse and inclusive organization dedicated to making a positive impact on our community. The Melrose Running Club was formed as a non-profit organization in 1996 with the charter to make a positive contribution to our community while promoting the sport of running. Over the years the club has grown into a social, supportive group of over 150 local runners. Although the ability of member

s varies from the new runner just developing a routine to the seasoned veteran training for their next marathon, each runner shares in the joy of running and the camaraderie that comes with running as part of a club.

MRC presented the Melrose Alliance Against Violence (MAAV) with a $31,500 check on Tuesday 8/5. The net proceeds from the Melrose Run for Women, held on Mother’s Day each year, help fund the mission of MAAV to raise awareness of problems related to domestic violence and bullying and to promote healthy dating and relationships. MRC Memberships for the rest of 2025 are now just $15 for individuals and $25 for families. If you're interested in running or walking with a supportive group, please come join us any Tuesday at 7 pm at 23 West Foster Street, Melrose (Knights of Columbus, first floor).
