Friends of Melrose Friends of Melrose is a non-profit organization.

The Friends of Melrose helps sponsor events, educational opportunities, and fund raisers in support of participation for community members. Some activities include: concessions for high school sporting events, the Melrose 4th of July celebration and fireworks, and the Melrose community pool fundraiser.

We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported our local pool by donating raffle baskets, silent auction items, buying tickets, and more. This fundraiser truly highlighted the amazing spirit of our community!

A special thanks to the Melrose American Legion Post 439 and the Melrose AMVETS for providing food service!

Thank you to our amazing bartenders!

Thank you L&M Cafe, Cookies & Cream Cafe, Milkhouse Market, and Monkeys Roost for their contributions of sides, appetizers, and desserts.

Thanks to the Melrose Rod and Gun Trap team for assisting with clearing tables.

We also want to thank the Quad County Turkey Federation, Melrose Rod and Gun, WHV Inc, Co-op Credit Union, Ed and Marty Woods Memorial Fund and Black River Country Bank for your generous donations. Also huge thank you to all of our other donors!

You’re Invited!!

Join us for the 37th Annual Melrose Area Swimming Pool Fundraiser. Our fundraiser will be held at the Melrose American Legion Hall on Saturday evening, March 28th 2026, from 5:00pm to 11:00pm.

Each year the Annual Pool Fun Night has been a huge success in helping cover the costs of operating our community pool.

Tickets can be purchased in advance from any Friends of Melrose member or bought at the door that evening.

The cost of the event is $70.00 per couple or $35.00 for an individual. This price includes appetizers, main meal and 4 drink tickets per person. Food will start being served at 5:30 PM until 8:00 pm and as every year, there will be raffles, silent auction items and baskets.

If interested in donating prizes or a prize basket contact Lisa Nordstrom at 608/488-2401 or drop off at Nordstrom Lumber.

Please register by March 13th to assist us in planning. Tickets will not be mailed out. You will pick up your meal & drink tickets at the door the night of the party!

What an incredible 4th of July celebration! Despite the heat, you showed up with your smiles, your spirit, and your red, white, and blue ❤️🤍💙

A huge thank you to all of our volunteers- whether you were helping in the concessions, serving food, & drinks, helping with the kiddie tractor pull, or helping behind the scenes, we couldn’t have done it without you. Thank you to the Miss Jackson County Court for your creative face painting. Lastly thank you to all the amazing Friends of Melrose members that organizied the day!
