🐟 Good Food, Good Fellowship, and Rural Roots!
A heartfelt thank you to Representative Martin Zamora and his wife, Debbie, for joining us at the annual Melrose Rotary Fish Fry!
In the midst of a demanding election schedule, they took the time to sit down, share a meal, visit with friends and neighbors, and enjoy the fellowship that makes our rural communities so special.
One thing I have always appreciated about Martin is that his connection to rural New Mexico isn't something he has to manufacture for a campaign. He is a farmer. He knows the land, understands the challenges of agriculture, and shares the everyday concerns of the people who call these small communities home.
There is something meaningful about having a representative who understands rural life through firsthand experience. The conversations around a fish fry table aren't simply political talking points. They're about water, agriculture, families, small businesses, and the future of the communities we love.
Thank you, Martin and Debbie, for spending time with the folks in Melrose. We appreciate your willingness to show up, pull up a chair, and remain connected to the people and places you represent.
And a special thank you to the Melrose Rotary for another wonderful fish fry! These gatherings remind us that the heart of rural New Mexico is found in its people. ❤
